Casual Stripes

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all well. I’ve got a quick outfit post to share today, no fancy photographs, but that’s ok - my blog is my little corner of the internet and I'm trying to be more relaxed and just post content I want, rather than feel presdured for it to be a certain standard. So I’m bringing it back with a simple outfit post. If you’ve seen my latest post - my ASOS wish list - you’ll know I was in the look for some basic tops for my spring / summer wardrobe and this was one of the items I decided to order. I knew it was one of those staple t-shirts to have in my wardrobe, that I can wear time and time again, for various occasions.

Styling A Trench Coat

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. We're into Spring now, and the weather is finally starting to warm up a little, so I've moved away from my big winter coat, and so out comes my trusty trench coat which is perfect for the transition. Here I styled mine with black skinny jeans, a blouse, and my brogues which made the perfect outfit for a spot of shopping, followed by a meal with my family.

Family Saturday

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. Today I wanted to share with you last Saturday's outfit - a lovely blue skied day, which was perfect for a nice long walk in the crisp air with my family, followed by a lunch. Perfect Saturday. As we're still in February, the air has still got a chill, and the wind can be pretty nasty when it catches you - so I wanted to be warm, comfortable, but somewhat stylish and put together.

The Check Shirt

Hello everyone, I hope you're well. I've got an outfit post today, as I couldn't not share my new favourite shirt. I've been on the hunt for a checked shirt for a while, and here it is. I styled it with jeans, brogues, a black coat and my trusty over the shoulder Radley bag, and it made the perfect outfit for a day out shopping. It was warm, comfortable, and stylish.

Hello everyone - I hope you're well. Today's look is a chic, put together blazer and heeled boot combo, paired with a jumper and jeans - a perfect smart casual look. Blazers are something I want to have more of in my wardrobe. I find them comfortable, they can be worn with so many things, and pull together an outfit so easily for a chic, smarter look.

Hello everyone - it's another outfit post from me today. Here I styled this simple but chic black blouse from French Connection, with a simple white jacket and trusty black high waisted skinny jeans. This was perfect for a girly day out with my mum - cinema, a meal, and drinks. It was comfortable enough to wear for a whole day, whilst still being smart enough for the occasion.

Ah, it's finally warm enough for spring outfits. Here I paired my pink cigarette trousers with a white and navy striped t-shirt and my trusty denim jacket. I really like how the blue shades in the denim jacket and the t-shirt compliments the pink in the trousers, and all round it feels like a bright, spring outfit for a sunny day.

Transitioning to Spring with a Detailed Skirt

I always find the transition period between two seasons the hardest to dress for, especially the jump from winter to spring. The sun is creeping out more and more, and there's been a few days of jacket rather than coat weather, but it's not quite all sunshine and warmth just yet. Here I styled a detailed pretty skirt with a thick high neck top, and cosy cardigan to strive a balance between wanting to start dressing for the spring, whilst keeping warm enough.
