Reflections - My Favourite Memories of 2016
There's only a couple of days left of 2016, and I know everyone says this almost every year - but I honestly think that this has been the first time that I've actually thought that a year has gone by really quickly. I won't be getting over-emotional about the new year and this year being over, but I wanted to put together a post reflecting on my favourite memories of 2016 - so I hope you enjoy!

Makeup Storage with my Geko Vanity Case
I'm a university student, and like the majority of students this means I live between two places and spend a lot of time travelling between the two. For my first year and a half as a student, this meant that my makeup storage was to put it honestly an absolute mess - there was no system to it, and as a result there was so many products that I just never used because I couldn't find them within the mess. This year for Christmas I was surprised with a Geko Vanity Case, which although it wasn't on my wish list, it's become one of my favourite gifts.

The Marks and Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar in Review
Hello everyone! It's the 24th of December, the end of our advent calendars - and so only really the day for me to sit and review my beauty advent calendar, because I definitely won't want to be doing it when I have post-Christmas blues. I went with the Marks and Spencer beauty advent calendar - my first ever beauty advent calendar in fact, and it was a toss up between many when it came to deciding. So, let's see what my overall thoughts were, my favourite products inside, and whether I think it was worth it.

Get Ready with Me for Christmas Drinks
I talk about what products I love and use so often on my blog, but never really share with you how I use them, and what products go into what looks. In the light of the Christmas period, when there's so many occasions to get dressed up, I thought I'd share my makeup for going out for some Christmas drinks. When I'm not in a rush, and actually have enough time to enjoy it, getting ready is something I love doing.Monday, 19 December 2016
Nails Inc - GEL
Hello everyone! First things first, how excited are we all for Christmas? I'm so excited for it - this is by far my favourite time of year - hence the several festive posts I've been putting up on my blog recently. But today it's time for a bit of beauty talk, with a festive theme, as I'm putting the spotlight on the Nails Inc GEL in shade Piccadilly Court which is perfect for this time of year.

Current Favourite Beauty Products

I think it's about time to share with you my current beauty favourites - this isn't a type of post I do that often, because let's be honest it takes time accumulate products that I really love and are worthy enough to be classified as a favourite. But these are my go-to's at the moment. So, get yourself comfortable for a bit of beauty talk.

Christmas Decorations 2016
I compiled a picture of all the Christmas decorations of my family home last year, and absolutely loved looking back at it - so of course I wanted to do the same this year. Christmas is without a doubt my favourite time of year, and the decorations is something I love paying attention to and appreciating. Fairy lights, candles, glitter on anything and everything - I love it.

The Black Dress
A Little Black Dress is such a simple, statement piece that can be worn for so many different occasions. I've had this dress from Marks and Spencer for a long while now, but only had the chance to wear it about three times unfortunately. But for a meal and drinks out to celebrate the end of term, I couldn't think of a better reason. I'm not one who tends to go for bold colours, or patterns, so a simple dress like this is perfect for me. I dressed it up with a buttoned three-quarter sleeved cardigan from Boden, my black and gold clutch from Boohoo, and a chunky necklace again from Marks and Spencer. Despite the dress being simple, I think the alternating length between the front and back gives it edge.

Four Perfect Yankee Candles for Cosy Winter Nights
At this time of year, cosy nights in are commonality and there's nothing better than a candle flickering away in the background whilst you're snuggled up on the sofa - perhaps also accompanied with a hot chocolate. Yankee Candles are something I've loved for years now, and I still get just as excited every single time I purchase a new one. These four are ones I've not tried before now, but I think they're so perfect for this time of year.

Christmas Party / Christmas Day Outfit Picks
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing with you my outfit picks for a Christmas party this year, or for the big day itself. I put together a post very similar to this last year and loved it so I wanted to keep it as a running theme. I think on Christmas day, you're either one to stay in pjs, or one to get dressed up - and I get dressed up it's just the way I've always done it. But of course, these can be just as perfect for a Christmas party, Christmas Eve, you name it.

Finding the One - My all time Favourite Foundation
Finding the one, the foundation thats right for you. As much as I love all makeup, I've always held the opinion that foundation is the most important. Because I've had previous issues with bad skin, finding a foundation that worked with my skin, I felt comfortable in, and gave me the coverage I was after was a mission. But, on Christmas 2013 I got my first ever BareMinerals foundation in the 'get started kit' and I've never looked back. In fact, my first ever blog post (yikes) was a review of it.
