Autumnal makeup - featuring my new piece from ecotools

Good evening everyone! So today I went out into the city centre, grabbed some lunch and wandered round the shops. I've been on the hunt for a new makeup applicator recently, as although I love my real techniques and Bare Minerals brushes, I wanted something foam-based for me to target the scarring I have left from my acne. As I was strolling around Boots, I came across a collection of makeup applicators and brushes by 'ecotools', and I found, quite possibly, the most ideal piece which I was looking for.

This week's beauty buys from Collection

Black, White and Smart

This look was my outfit of the day today; although as it's been a very busy day for me I'm only just posting this now, late at night, whilst I'm sat in bed with a good old cup of tea. For anyone who knows me, and for those of you who read my blog will soon discover, I like to dress smart almost all the time. It's what I feel comfortable in, and there's nothing I love more than the feeling I get when I put together a successful outfit; and I intend to share them with you all regularly! I put together this look as a simple, yet smart outfit made up of a few pieces which can be mix and matched to create a variety of different looks.

Advice - how I deal with my stress and anxiety

Hello all, with it being World Mental Health day yesterday it really inspired me to write this post about my own personal experiences to share with you all today. I, like many others out there, suffer with anxiety and stress issues; which I used to find difficult to manage. But over the years, I have worked out what works for me in helping me calm down; so I thought I'd share my top tips with you all.

It's official, Autumn is officially here; and I don't know about you but summer already feels a million miles away. I've already been feeling the cold, so the thick tights and the jumpers have been rescued from my wardrobe. This is a simple all black, smart/casual look I put together.
