I first tried this foundation years ago - back in 2013 as a Christmas present along with the coinciding Clinique skincare range. At this time, my skin was problematic, and at the time when my acne started to develop. So, as you can imagine I hated the feel of foundation on my skin, but this was a nice light-weight option that had promise of controlling oil levels, minimise the look of and unclog pores, and neutralise skin redness. I loved it.
Since then, my skin has been on a rollercoaster. It progressively got worse, but after a long process of various antibiotics, followed by a five month course of roaccutane, I now have clear skin and my skin feels much more comfortable wearing foundation. However, when I was in duty free last month I found myself drawn back to this Clinique foundation. My acne may have cleared, but I'm still prone to oily skin, I have visible pores, and still the occasional break out. And so this foundation still works well for my skin type, I feel comfortable in it, and it has a nice medium coverage that's easily build-able. Now that I've been reunited with the anti-blemish foundation, and loving it, I'm definitely tempted to re-purchase more skincare products from the anti-blemish range.
What's your current favourite foundation?
