Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. I wanted to put together a post of some recent beauty finds that I've been loving over the past month. I don't often do round up favourite posts, as I don't try new things often enough, but these are some real favourites I've come across recently that I want to talk about.
Clinique pep-start eye cream - I've been using the pep-start eye cream on a daily basis since the new year and I'm absolutely loving it. It makes a real difference in making me look and feel more awake, refreshed and hydrated, as well as giving my skin a smooth base to go in with makeup. Prior to this, eye cream was never something I bothered with, but I'm so glad I've made the effort to introduce it into my routine. I use this alongside the Clinique anti-blemish skincare three step routine, and my skin is looking and feeling better than ever before.
Bareminerals eye colour (shade Marvel ) - I tried this eyeshadow for the first time a couple of weeks ago when I was getting ready for a night out - and wow I was amazed. I actually got this as part of the bareminerals box of wonders advent calendar, but hadn't yet tried it, but now I know how much I love it, it'll be used on a regular basis no doubt. The pigmentation of it is absolutely great, whilst still having a gorgeous shimmer to it. Marvel is the kind of subtle shade you can wear for a number of occasions, day or night. So this is a real winner.
Bareminerals marvellous moxie lipgloss (shade Socialite) - I absolutely love the marvellous moxie lip glosses from bareminerals, and have been using them for years now. I remember purchasing my first ever marvellous moxie lipgloss, it was in the shade Rebel, and being amazed at the quality and pigmentation - it was my first 'proper' lipgloss. Since them, I've always come back to them and loved them just as much. Socialite is a perfect hint of pink, really nice and bright on the lips, perfect for any day. I'm a real lover for lip glosses, always have been, so I can happily throw on some gloss on a daily basis.
Clinique chubby stick sculpting highlight - This highlighting stick is my go-to for a nice, natural looking glow. I've never been one to go big on the highlight, and I always keep my makeup simple, and as natural as I can. So, this subtle glow is absolutely perfect. I'm a big fan of twist-up stick and creamy style highlighters like this as I find them really easy to blend, and nice and easy to make it look subtle and natural.
L'oreal true match concealer - My new daily concealer, and I love it. It's affordable, great coverage, easily bendable, and matches my skin tone so well. It's everything I could want for an everyday concealer.
